On a roll from my 1/48 Panzer IV, I quickly assembled and painted my son's World of Tanks 1/35 Tiger kit by Italeri. While not as expertly crafted as the Tamiya IV kit, the Italeri parts were sharp.

Once assembled, the hull, turret and wheels were primed and then sprayed with a rust and dark brown primer coat. Following this, chipping fluid was once again sprayed overall before the top coat of camouflage was applied.

I painted the Tiger in a base Panzer gray (Mig DUNKELGRAU) with stripes of OLIVGR‹N, shadowed with darker bands of the base gray. These were chipped off with a wet brush to reveal the under primer and bare rusty metal. Washes of grime and rust were also applied. A set of Archer dry transfer numbers and crosses were ordered and applied, with another light wash of dirty filter to tone them down.
