then theres this one too...and Im workin on more.
its based on the at the time, as yet unveailed F117. right after this kit came fact as I was building it, an F117 crashed in northern CA, and the Air Force couldnt hide it anymore, and so revealed the F117...

48th scale kit. all done but the canopy, I ran out of the dark grey I was using. theres black and two shades of dark grey on this thing. now, think...its number designation is the 50s we had the F 104, the late 60s we reset the numbers, back to 001. we are now up to the F22, YF 23 and F 35....this plane has been flying in one form or another for a looong time...

There was a cool display, years ago that I missed getting a picture of:

- runway
- shadow painted on runway of invisible stealth fighter
- flight-suited fighter jock seated on thin air

The model builder displayed the pilot in mid-air by using a impossibly thin black wire that was anchored in the black shadow. I've always wanted to make my own version of that display...
