Thank you!

Here's another. The model has since been finished* but I still need to take some RIF shots.

For now, here are the resin wheels all painted up and ready to mount.

I also bought resin exhausts, but lost them somehow... So, some more resin ones were bought from Ultracast. These are real nice and only needed a little clean up along the edges. Then some nato black and brushed with a rust wash.

Then I started 'chipping,' using a bit of silver paint but mostly a prismacolor pencil and a normal #2 pencil..

Then it was time to add exhaust stains and some by the nose guns.

After that she was given a flat coat and it was times to put the wheels on her.

I ended up putting one of the gear legs just slightly crooked. Not really noticeable until the wheels with their flat spots went on. A careful few minutes spent bending the axles up just slightly fixed that!

I will have to take some more pics soon, as these don't show her as done yet.

Well, thanks for looking. I'll post an RFI in a bit, but until then I'm now working on a 1/72 Academy F/A-18F for a coworker.

* not done just yet...
