Default 1:1000 Nimitz class Battle Frigate finished

The USS Nimitz is finished and ready to go to the client. This is the second build for this person, along with the USS Ripley. As with the Ripley, weathering was added. For the Nimitz, battle damage was also added. Thanks for looking! You can see the build process here;

The Chandley-class is one of the few FASA StarFleet designs I really like. Love the work you put into her, tho I don't like the Soyuz added parts. I do like using the Reliant kit as the base, versus using just the Refit saucer. This is one I'd love to see released as a conversion kit!

Beautiful work, as always, Scott! Thanks for sharing the buildup pics, as well as the finished work!

That's a kick-ass looking ship. Nice work Scott.

Masterful work; I agree re: using the Reliant saucer as the base, rather than the refit's.

What do the anchor decals represent? (Besides a Starfleet-ish take on USN anchor motifs...). Were those client requests, or your own embellishment?

Best-

In the FASA lore, each of the Chandley-class ships are authorized to paint a coat-of-arms on their hull. I think usually the emblem is added to the pylons, not on the upper "shoulders", tho.

The shields were supplied by the client. I assume they represent the Nimitz class carrier is some way.
