Some last detail additions before her paint shop appointment this weekend. Hex mesh PE left over from Shangri-La makes it way into the inboard and outboard flush vents on the pylons. Underside styrene details clean up the area around the brass mount on the weapons pod:

Left over Aztec Dummy refit masks I didn't use on the Shangri-La make their way onto the Wasp. The upper primary will be aztec'd with the Walker Enterprises PE stencil.

A few progress pics of the Wasp painting:











Here's the Walker Enterprises PE set in action on the primary. I went with a darker scheme to help accent the lighter overall hull pattern. I later blended the primary with a thinned overspray of the base color to knock down the contrast.
