Is Javelin her name, or the name of the class?

I am amazed at how seamlessly you have dovetailed three design asthetics (TOS, TMP, and 2001).

Thank you! Yes, Javelin is the name of XN-1 Program craft. This specific shuttlecraft 5265/2 from the USS Endurance is "Shackleton".

Memorial Day progress included the installation of the windshield, priming, pre-shading, painting, decals and final clear coats. The platform base remains to be constructed.

Thanks to all who have followed this build. I hope to have finished photos with the lighting following WF.

This may be my last project.

Lovely work, Admiral. She is beautiful.

And I do hope this is not your last. We all live vicariously through you.

Having said that though, I hope it is nothing too serious and it is simply a choice you wish to make.

that is seriously amazing work Admiral. I can only echo the other's concerns about that last sentence and hope that it isn't as your work is beautiful.

Thank you all. I did not intend to be be dramatic or cryptic but I sense a lack of interest in all of this, that is all.

WonderFest18 was a wonderful show and met many amazing people. The Javelin won gold, the RI Pinnacle Award for scratch building and the TrekYards Best Trek trophy. I am not worthy of them. So many fantastic models to admire.

Here are a few studio pics:

No lack of interest here, not a bit. I'm fairly certain you could do YouTube video tutorials on scratchbuilding by whittling a bar of soap and we'd all tune in.

I love the "moonbus" interior lighting scheme.
What's her paint scheme? Looks... grey?
If Shackleton is 02, who's 01?
Is it jumping the gun to hope that someone scanned that for reproduction in kit form?

Kudos to you Mr. Fi for your unwavering attention and support of these projects. A little goes a long way.

The paint scheme is my traditional Starfleet mix of Tamiya XF-19 Sky Gray. Lightened (3:1) with flat white or darkened with German Gray for the various hull surfaces. There are about 7 varying shades used on the craft.

Here is the breakdown of the Endurance's six Javelin-type craft embarked and their call signs:

01 Worsley
02 Shackleton
03 James Caird
04 Stancomb Wills
05 Dudley Docker
06 McNish

UGH Models is keenly interested in producing a resin 1/72 version soon. Complete with a displayable interior, the model should be about 7.3" in length.
