Default lit 1:1400 Intrepid Class

1:1400 Intrepid-Class from Revell.
I fixed a lot of bugs on that kit (windows, hangardoor, impulsengine, deflectors...)
Hope you like it

It actually does look very nice. I like the diffusion of the impulse engines.

Also, not to pick nits but I don't think Revel's Voyager was 1/1400. Closer to 1/650th scale, I think.

What've we told you? Leave the thinking to us...
Remember that there was a smaller set? With Voyager, the Maquis ship and the Kazon ship?
In 1/1400?

Wow! I missed this thread previously, somehow! Very nicely done! Especially w/that small kit.

I used Microscale MICRO KRISTAL KLEAR. Works fine - also on bigger windows like on my Nebula:

I've been considering doing that on a 1/350 Refit Enterprise.

Beautiful work!

Forgive me for resurrecting an old thread, and even though I know the chances are slim....if the OP is reading this, do you have more images from the 'in progress' phase? I just picked up a plastic 1/1400 Voyager with the intention of lighting her up properly. The only obstacle I'm worried about is accurately cutting the channels for the lateral sensors -- especially in the primary hull! I'd love your input on how to do this step.

Your method for casting clear resin into the mold recesses of the warp engines is inspiring. I was originally going to make 2-piece molds of the engine parts for this purpose; now I see I just need open face molds and some careful xacto work. Brilliant!
