Love those insets! And I wasn't thinking Charger, but just classic muscle car!
What a simple and yet absolutely neat idea. This is going to be a true show stopper!

Am I using too many exclamation marks..?

Thanks!

Some minor detailing continues on the secondary hull and dorsal halves. Docking ports were made just as on the Sentinel using 5/16" plastic tubing which has a 1/4" inner diameter, perfect for the photo-etch TMP docking doors and rings. A 5/16" drill bit was hand-turned into the styrene to bore out the holes. Tubing was cut into 3/8" long sections and end-capped with sheet plastic then pushed into the hull at a preset depth. The excess was filed off and sanded flush.

The side SEFAS sensor detail was scratched into the starboard half and refined some more yesterday by adding a cowl over the hemisphere:

This weekend's work concentrated on completing the command deck. The master was molded in Alumilite quick-set silicone and cast in Smooth-On white resin as a slush-type hollow shell.

Holes for the window ports, turbo lift humps, photon torpedo tubes and bridge dome were drilled. As before with Sentinel, rectangular brass tubing was cut and inserted for the window port frames as well as round tubing for the photorps. Once superglued in place, they are filed flush to the hull:

Scratched the master of the Hood's armored intercooler in styrene. This will be cast and replicated in resin. Shown here with the Sentinel's (top), Constitution class (bottom).

In primer:

Bottom half of the nacelle was cut per the design. The removed piece will be inset back into the lower drive.
