I wonder if anybody will be doing figures for the 32nd Proteus.

Interpretation: I want a 1/32 Raquel Welch.

Okay, next releases I know of;

That 1/48 Nakajima E8N1 Navy Type 95 Reconnaissance Seaplane Model 1:

http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...%24pagecnt%3D1

Hasegawa is nice enough to charge extra for the PE set to go with it:

http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...TOY-SCL2-50192

Also from our friends at Hasegawa, what amounts to the TV variant of the SDF-1 from Macross;

http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...%24pagecnt%3D1

Also a Super version of the VF-25 from Macross Frontier in 1/72;
http://www.hlj.com/product/HSG27/Sci (for some reason Amiami doesn't have pictures of it)

And a small mountain of various Macross kits are getting re-released as well.

Into ships, Hase is re-releasing it's 1/350 Yahagi Agano class light cruiser but this time as she looked at the battle of Leyte Gulf. Not sure what changes they made as of yet, only that they have made them.
http://www.hlj.com/product/HSG40092/Nav

From Fujimi we are shortly releasing the destroyer Shimakaze, one of the most powerful destroyers ever built;
http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ46001/Nav

Added to this is the Max Factory effort of the same.
http://www.hlj.com/product/MAX01019/Nav

Max's version is more moolah due to having extra stuff for it's Kancolle anime try-in, but in spite of that there is a full on 1/350 Shimakaze in the box. I'm guessing at a later date there will be a cheaper destroyer only box, but I have no idea when. Small bonus; Max Factory teamed up with Hasegawa on this project....

....and in typical Hase fashion here's a PE set for the Max Factory Shimakaze;
http://www.hlj.com/product/HSG40093/Nav

And Fine Mold is re-releasing it's 1/350 IJN Destroyer Ayanami, which is a type II Fubuki class I believe. I can totally recommend this one, it's an excellent kit. I think I might grab another one myself as it looks like the price has come down a bit.
http://www.hlj.com/product/fnmfw-01/Nav

Pit-road is releasing a resin 1/350 JMSDF Destroyer Akizuki DD-115, one of Japan's newest general purpose destroyers. Being a resin kit confuses me as they were releasing a awesome line of plastic kits? Maybe the team up with Trumpeter has ended?
http://www.hlj.com/product/PITHMG-04/Nav

Whew. I'd better eat breakfast and get ready for work. There's other stuff in tools that sound interesting (by interesting I mean weird) but they don't have any photos, so I'm gonna hold off on those for now. Hopefully we'll hear about more in the coming days.

Per-ordered mine last week man :P

Here's a link of some other Hasegawa stuff:
http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/hp/2...jhs_scale.html

Also, a 1/200 Mikasa from Wave. Not cheap, but I might have to pony up for that.

Where was it?

The Hasegawa/Revell P3 Orion is a fun kit-- I did one a few years ago, backdated to 1975-era specs.

Towards the top on the right side, 2nd kit down right below the 1/72 FA-18.

Okay, didn't see this one coming.....

Tamiya is putting out a 1/350 Kagero.

http://www.hlj.com/product/TAM78032/Nav

Now some of you may note that Tamiya has already done that with their Yukikaze release from 7 years ago. Apparently, this will be an early war version, so new bits in the box.

Dammit HM!!

Why did you have to go and mention the 1/200 MIKASA!?

http://freetimehobbies.com/1-200-wav...tic-model-kit/

I've been wanting to build a 1/200 ship for quite some time. Not something modern, or as massive and weapon encrusted as the Bismarck.

To me, it's an example of elegance in warship design. And now...thanks to you...

It's calling to me.

What can you tell me about the quality of kits by WAVE?

I'd like your thoughts before I sink that kind of money into that kit.
