Default 1/16 scale Y-Wing

At long last, I got this project completed so I can finally post it in this section!

The base is L49"xW25". The model being roughly about 39.5" long.

Even though it's posted in the completed section...I may get this back on the bench one day to fix "some" errors (and there are plenty), but one being the length of the nacelle spars being too short. I purposely positioned the Y-wing further forward on the base so I could correct it in the future. Seeing as how long it took me from start to finish...I'm thinking I might wait a few years.

Beautifully done and then some Taz! Crisp build and a testament to some fuckin' serious detail work.
Only thing I would suggest even though it's probably not that easy to lug about, a few pics in natural daylight as I think it would show this one off to best effect as it deserves no less and the ever required coke can to show just what a monster this is.

Absolutely top notch job there my friend!

You're right about the weight. With the base and the cover, it's a heavy beast. I think you're right about the lighting. I've had friends see it in person and they say it looks better than it does online. Darned flash. I will try and take some photos in a more natural light. Thanks for the suggestion.
