The 3D printed primary perimeter window frames have been installed along with the necessary backlighting. Lots of surgery - 3 days worth. Light blocking and priming next as well as navigation lighting.

I love it-- it looks like an original series era bar at the bow of the ship.
A "TOS-Forward," if you will...

Liking this! No one is going to complain about bad lighting.

Primary hull window ports and navigation/strobe lighting is just about complete. Moved on to the command deck lighting.

Bow three-hole deflector/sensor/tractor beam/wave motion dispenser started as sections of brass tubing cut and filed to shape against the leading edge pf the primary. Lit from behind with 2mm blue lighthouse LEDs, these will be further diffused with bits of frosted fiber optic.

Outer edge of the 12 primary window port inserts have been smoothed to the hull, light blocked and primed.

Inside command deck - forward headlight assembly. (3) rectangular white LEDs glued together.

Love the interior shots. Admiral Buck's model room has got to be like visiting ILM when building the TMP Ent (or TNG Ent-D) many moons ago.

That three-hole sensor-mawhatsis in brass is such a cool throwback...

I think it would be like taking a trip to Disneyland, Weta Workshop or ILM. I'd buy a ticket!
