Default Hasegawa 1/48 Voyager Space Probe

Working on this for a larger project…yet another chance to fold my hobby practice and art practice into one another…

I picked up Eduard’s photo etch set and it is already adding some really nice detail. Luckily the kit is molded in the 2 main colors of the craft so there is very little painting.

Wow, that's strange. I dont' know how old or new this kit is, but I just heard about it for the first time today too. Was going to look up some reviews on it.

Now I guess I'll just park my butt right here!

Lookin' good!

It's fairly new, within the past year or so. It's a good kit and PE makes it even better! Enjoy!

She’s all finished up but I didn’t have time to take pictures before taking her to the gallery. I’ll get some shots of her installed in the next week or so (and the context in which she’s installed!). Lotsa fun with the photo etch…

Cool! Nice looking build.

I have the same kit and photoetch in the stash. Did you have any issues with the magnetometer boom (long etched prism shape)? Did you just glue with Superglue and then twist? Any snaps/cracks during twisting, did you have to anneal the boom first?

Cheers, JT
