Revell Republic Star Destroyer finished

Hi everyone,

in the last months Iwas working on the Republic Star Detroyer by Revell. This was the prepainted version, but I did some LED lighting and a nice paint job. Tried some new things like pre-shading and post-shading, the some washing and weathering with oil paints. I didn't get any add on parts, just don't like the model so much as to invest another 100 bucks. So partwise it's out of the box.
Paintjob turned out to be quite good, there are some spray marks in in the black pre-shading where individual drops are visible. I didn't know how to fix it properly, so it is as it is.

The model ist sturdy and looks good, though it lacks detail.
