Its not letting me look at the pics on the last post, like it didn't load them in the data base, so Ill try to edit that post, so I can move on, or make a new one with those pics.

Hey!

First off, like the guys said, WELCOME TO RESIN ILLUMINATI!

We are primarily a science fiction modeling board, but as you can see from the different sections, other modelling genres are more than welcome here too!

We do the picture thing in two main ways. Some of us use a hosting site (I use photobucket.com), and some like to submit the photos as attachments to their posts (like you did here). Either way is cool - the attachment method has the advantage of being able to show much larger pics than one can do with hosting services.

I REALLY can't wait to see more of this project, as I am a dyed-in-the-wool Kriegsmarine fan

Picture 067.jpgThe stern ribs aren't quiet the right shape at this point, However I go a bit large and will work it down instead of small and having to build it up.

Wow....that's going to be huge!

I've always loved the German cruiser classes....I wish they made them in 1/350 scale.

Picture 075.jpgAttaching the stern and bow with a mid span keel so I can build in the mid decks. The ship was a split deck and not flush deck design, and had Torpedo deck cutouts in the middle of her.

TY all for the comments and support. I am glad that there are some Kriegsmarine fans here. I just like ships in general, however I have studied extensively about the German Navy, and military between 1900 and the end of WW II. I have several plans for Z plan ships that were never built, and I'm planning to do several projects of them.

I started working on a resin 1/350 scale KMS Karlsruhe in balsa, and pieces from a Bismark kit and Graph Spee kit. but I don't really like that scale. I might get back to it. I saw a 1/144 scale Bismark from Soar arts and It was cool but under detailed for it's size, and at 1200 dollars I believe I could make something better from scratch. I plan to make molds from this and future projects so I can make these ships and or parts for RC or static models, and I have thought about making them in 1/350 or 1/200 for a smaller model.

Let me know what You think as I am interested in what someone would like to purchase if this ever gets to a product stage.Kruiser M 009.jpg

If you make them in 1/350 I'd be very interested.
