OK so it's an Orion Wanderer

Playing about with some kit parts see if I can get it to look good

Tail section where engineering lives

the largest piece of the nose section

the rough casting for the bridge after much cleaning sanding and shaping of the super structure this ended up fitting better backwards

the Nose was attached to the lower bulkhead

some Plastruct was used as spacer between the top and bottom of the nose section then filler to close it up and shape the curve then a metal beam melted through both sides of the engineering section to mount the nacelles on

a resin cast from a cooking spoon was trimmed to give the curve for the forward structure and sheet styreen cut slightly wider than the flat shape was curved over to form the rear superstructure

then I melted mount holes in the nacelles and put them on to see how they look

Glued everything together added some detailing and sprayed a mixture primer and silver for most of the body with touches of black for the engineering section, still undecided on a final colour weither to go with the greys blacks and silver or go with something brighter. the slung weapons pods, the oval structure added under the nose section ans the recessed navigational deflector to do

Would never have called it...

I actually thought you may be going for a Tiburon class ship, as its underside is similar to the pic with all the clamps on it.

Some great progress going on there. Very very early TOS.
