Default Luke's yoda backpack info?

Has anyone seen a fan made Degobah Yoda backpack offered? If not does anyone know if that backpack was based on a commercally produced item? I looked on a few costuming pages and didn't see anything. I thought I saw one offered on ebay some time ago. Any info would be appreciated.
thanks,
Dan

Bump up. Any one know if there is a Degobah backpack out there, or maybe patterns? Or even if it was based on a available product?

It's in stock at thinkgeek. http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/gear/817c/

There's a chewbacca one as well (although I think it would be more awesome if it were actually 7 feet and not the 2.5 that it appears to be)

Interesting, but not quite what I was looking for. I was looking for the blue backpack that Yoda rides in on Lukes back. I was hoping that the prop department used something off the shelf and possibly modified it some or not. And if anyone knew of the base item the used or if someone made these or offered a pattern.
Thanks,
Dan

Can you post some screen caps or good pics of it? I'm pretty good with identifying costume bits-- if it's not something commercially available I might be able to give you a pattern sketch.

Here's a link to Sideshow's PF 1/4 scale figure of Luke and Yoda. It shows some pics of the backpack.

Thanks superjedi, I can't really base a pattern on a model but it does give a good general impression of the shapes involved.

We grabbed our copy of Empire and froze on a few of the key scenes. Looking at the outside construction it doesn't look like something straight off the shelf, but looking at the scene where Yoda is sitting next to the backpack revealed a few bits (I'll upload pics once I get the screenies on this computer.)

It looks like a military surplus duffel or haversack that has been cut to remove the top, the webbing on the front is standard issue nylon webbing that is either 2.5 or 3 inch (can't tell as I don't know how large or small Mark Hamell's hands are, but I'd lean more towards the 2.5)

When I get some time I'll do some sketches for you with my best guesses as to measurements and see if I can find a supplier with matching hardware.
