Default Starcrafts 1000 scale Akira
I really wish that round 2 had followed through with this kit. But having said that, Starcrafts has done a wonderful job on this kit. If I didn't know it was resin I would say it was styrene. The parts fit is amazing! The clear parts are also cast in clear resin and are great There are no bubbles in any of them. My only real issue with the kit would be the decals. They are good but I would like a set of JT Graphics decals.

Starcrafts does sell wallpaper decals for the entire model. They also sell color cast resin parts for the clear resin bits. I didn't think I really needed either. The pricetag is a bot steep at $199 but I really liked the ship and wanted a decent sized model of it. I recommend the kit if you are a fan of the ship.
